Spring Term 1
This half term, Year 6 are learning all about Light.
Covering all of the 'light' objectives for Year 6 in the National Curriculum, these lessons explore sources of light, shadows and light, how our eyes see, reflecting light and much more!
Living Things and their Habitats
During Autumn 1, Year 6 will be learning about living things and their habits.
Our main focus:
To describe how living things are classified into broad groups according to their characteristics and based on similarities and differences, including micro-organisms, plants and animals.
To give reasons for classifying plants and animals based on specific characteristics.
