Christ Church began using 'I am a Clever Writer' in Summer 2021. It is a 'clear structured approach to teaching writing' where each skill of writing is broken down in miniscule steps to allow pupils to experience success with their writing.
Christ Church uses 'I am a Clever Writer' checklists as success criteria within all writing (both Literacy and across the wider curriculum) to ensure that pupils writing is to the best of their ability.
