Musical focus: Performing
'The Street' is the setting for this unit of buskers and flash mobs. Year 6 explore Ravel's Bolero through rhythmical mime, learning songs with instrumental accompaniments, and create a dance to build into a thrilling street performance.
Autumn
This half term, Year 6 will focus on the theme 'World Unite'. They will explore beats, co-ordination, pitch and rhythm through body percussion (using their bodies to make sounds).
