Building bridges in DT
In DT, we have explored different types of bridges and how they are built. We learned the vocabulary arches, beams, pillars and trusses, whilst constructing and testing different examples. We followed a design criteria and designed and constructed our own bridges using paper straws, string, sellotape, card and glue.
