Reading little and often with your child is the best support you can offer them at this stage of their reading journey. Aim for at least 10 minutes per night - any comments in their diary will earn your child a raffle ticket!
Children are learning the sounds that build up words and how to 'blend' these sounds in order to read words. We teach these sounds discretely through small RWI groups Monday-Thursday and apply this learning throughout the rest of the children's learning each day.
