This half term, our PE day is a Thursday!
This half term, Year 6 will focus on 'iCreate', which develops strength and balance.
Pupils will begin to experiment with tactics, rules changes and design ideas while creating balance trails and competing in balance-based games.
The lessons will improve children's locomotion capabilities by providing activities that utilise balancing along a line; as well as developing core strength through seated balance activities.
Autumn
This half term, Year 6's topic is 'Invasion Games'. Invasion games focus on movement and evasion. These are taught in a variety of sports such as football and basketball.
