Social Skills
Talking, getting along and working with other people are big life skills. In Rainbow Group we work hard to build and develop these important skills.
We begin each day with breakfast. We each have a role to play in serving breakfast such as handing out plates and cups, serving toast and pouring drinks. During this time we complete our morning check in session, discuss our plans for the day using our visual timetables and share any news that we may have.
We love to play different games with our friends, developing turn taking, sharing and communication skills.
Each day we sing songs and love to learn the Makaton signs too!
Bonfire Night Celebrations
To celebrate bonfire night we worked together to make chocolate apples. This tested our team work, cooperation, communication and sharing skills.
