PHSE

In every PSHE lesson we have a special set of rules that we follow. Take a look at our PSHE Charter below.

PSHE Charter

Respect privacy.

We can discuss examples but don’t use names or descriptions that identify anyone, including ourselves. We never put anyone ‘on the spot’.

Listen to others.

It’s okay to challenge a view or disagree, but we listen properly before making assumptions or deciding how to respond. Everyone has the right to feel listened to.

No judgement.

We can explore beliefs and misunderstandings about a topic without fear of being judged.

Right to pass.

Every pupil has the right to choose not to answer a question or join the discussion if a topic makes them uncomfortable.

Celebrating Differences

In PSHE, we will be looking at the big question, ‘what makes us safe?’

We will use this question help us look at our similarities and differences whilst celebrating what makes us unique and special.

Being Me in My World

This term, we will be looking at what makes each person unique and special. We will be exploring our goals and ambitions for the future as well as thinking carefully about how we can all have a successful year. We love to use stories in PSHE to explore a range of concepts, take a look at some of the stories that we have used so far this term.
