Spring 1

This half term, our focus is the Maya Civilisation.

 

Learning about the achievements of the Maya, extending their understanding of the growth of Empires and how the Maya civilisation declined.

Autumn 

This half term, Year 6 are learning all about World War II!  

 

WW2 changed the lives of people around the world forever.  The children will discuss when and why WW2 began and learn about key individuals and countries involved.

  • World War II BBC Teach has some fantastic short video clips to help develop their knowledge of World War II
