In Mrs Till's group, we follow White Rose Maths. We often use practical (concrete) resources to help develop our understanding of mathematical concepts. We then spend time developing pictorial and abstract methods.

In our Maths lessons, we like to use lots of different resources to help the knowledge to stick in our heads. We use number fans, songs and daily Times Table Rockstars to help us to learn our times tables. Counters, 'base 10' and place value charts are used to help us understand the place value of different numbers.
