Key objectives for the unit:
- Pupils will know about celebrations and festivals
- Pupils will reflect and respond to stories about belong and relating to religious communities.
- Pupils will explore a range of stories and extracts from sacred writings and talk about meaning they have for believers.
- This will include learning about a range of different festivals and celebrations: Diwali, Rama and Sita (Hinduism/Sikhism), diva lamp, Hanukkah (Jewish), Eid (Muslim), Easter and Christmas (Christianity)
